Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) Western Union Exchange Rate is High

Recently, I had received a Western Union payment. I would not mention the amount but it look decent. The second thing I do was withdraw the payment from a bank. The nearest bank I had in mind is Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN). After filling up the form and received the cash, I was surprised to found the forex exhcange rate was 1 USD = RM 3.423. That day foreign exchange rate is USD 1 = RM 3.4400 for buying. It was big difference compare to pass few month at RM 3.20. The whole process take around 15 minutes and I am very satisfy of what I get.

I wondering other bank like CIMB or Public bank will offer better forex rate. If you had latest info, please share here. Anyway, you may try the Western Union services at BSN with the better forex rate offering.

Windows Live Messenger - “Show what I’m listening to” Doesn’t work

Windows Live Messenger sometimes doesn’t show the music you play on Windows Media Player even though you set it to show.

The work around is the following…

Open up Windows Media Player, and go to Tools => Options (You might need to hit the ALT key to see the hidden menu)

Click the Plug-ins tab, then on the Category Column, Click on Background and make sure Windows Live Messenger Music Plug-in is ticked. If not, tick it and Apply then OK.

See the following screenshot for more info…

Now you should be able to Show what you play on Windows Media Player.
